1. Every Leo is sponsored by a Lions Club.
2. The sponsoring Lions Club will maintain a close rapport with the Leo Clubs.
3. A Lion member is appointed as a Leo Club Advisor.
4. He or She will promotes regular communication between the two clubs.
5. Through this clubs liaison, Lions and Leos often agree to work together on joint community service projects.
The Relationship Between Lions Club & Leo Club
- The Lions Club has the responsibility of providing proper guidance & counseling to its Leo Club.
- The Lions Club will work closely to ensure that if function within the policies of Lions Clubs International.
- The Leo Club being a junior in the International Association of Lions Clubs, serves as a learning centre for the youth to be future leaders.
- Because a Leo Club is an activity of the Lions Club, energy, time and dedication on the part of the Lions sponsor are essential to the vitality and long-term success of Leo Clubs.
- Leos will have their own Club Officers and their Constitution & By-laws.
- They are responsible for planning and implementing their activities, financing their projects and maintaining the smooth functioning of the club.
